Grant High School student arrested for arson, vandalism in Grant Park Neighborhood
Portland Police say that a 15-year-old student was arrested early this morning for starting fires and vandalizing property in the Grant Park neighborhood. The suspect is facing charges of Arson in the Second Degree, three counts of Reckless Burning, Criminal Mischief in the First Degree and Interfering with a Peace Officer, the press release reads. The Grant High School administration made a flurry of personnel moves Monday, announcing the hiring of three new vice principals and the departure of vice principal Kristyn Westphal.
