As an artist, Marin is always looking for a new way to think outside of the box. She says, “Once in awhile, I tell myself to take a deep breath, step back, and try to look at the big picture. In that, I hope that I can bring a unique, slightly more abstract, view to the Magazine through my art.”

Outside of Magazine, you can either find Marin out for a run in southeast Portland, or snuggled under a blanket in midst of a movie marathon. “When I feel overwhelmed but not inspired enough to create art, I usually turn to running as an outlet for stress,” she says.
