Old Sports Jerseys

Ella Courtnage-Dyke (She/Her)
Grant Varsity Cross Country & Track 2021-2022

“These jerseys are kind of similar to our current jersey’s because they are for the most part one color with something big in the middle symbolizing Grant … I don’t know if I would wear these jerseys because the General on the front looks a little funny.”

Luna Shimakage-Person (She/Her)
Grant Junior Varsity Basketball 2021-2022

“It’s not giving what it needs to give, you know? There are undershirts, why are we wearing undershirts?”

Megan McDevitt (She/Her)
Grant Varsity Soccer 2021-2022

“These jerseys look so uncomfortable to play in … Also, what is up with the collar? Did they think it was a fashion statement or was it more for the professional look? I do love that they have the little soccer ball in the corner to make sure the other team knows they play soccer.”

Eli McConnachie (He/Him)
Grant Junior Varsity Soccer 2021-2022

“These jerseys look so different but so similar to the jerseys of modern day Grant. They may have a different style, but both represent the G to let players know what they are up against. The only change to the jerseys is that in our current jerseys, we either have Grant written horizontally or just the G in the top corner, instead of the diagonal “Grant” written on it. Personally, I would love to have these for next season, they look super comfortable to play in and have a great look to them.”

Dylan Dinh (He/Him)
Grant Varsity Football 2021-2022

“If I had to choose between our current jerseys and these I wouldn’t. I love the jerseys we have now… but I also wouldn’t mind these older ones, they seem like they’d be comfortable.”

Mia Fogg (She/Her)
Grant Varsity Tennis 2021-2022

“Our current uniforms are blue and white and are very comfortable to play in. Just from looking, I don’t know how comfortable the old uniforms could be, but I would wear it. One thing that’s nice about tennis is that you can play in pretty much anything!”
