Amelia Morrison is not afraid to speak up when she sees injustice. Whether it’s in class or with a group of friends Morrison thinks it’s important to defend her values. “I’m not smarter than anyone else and I’m not always right but the only way to combat ignorance is to talk about the issues.” Morrison’s passion for human rights makes anthropology an easy interest for her. She hopes to explore anthropology along with Political Science and African-American studies at The New School in New York City next year.
