Senior Marvin Lim moved from New Zealand his freshman year to play hockey. Along with adjusting to a new country, Lim began public school as a freshman at Grant after being homeschooled for his entire life.
Joseph Wornath uses Taekwondo as a bond to his birthplace of Seoul, South Korea. His recent black belt ceremony has given him more motivation than ever to continue this lifelong commitment to the martial art.
Dozens of teenage volunteers from Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue helped evacuate residents during the Eagle Creek fire in September. Several of these volunteers were Grant students. Hear stories from those intense few weeks.
